The Mediterranean Aerospace Scrl — SAM — is composed of twelve companies operating in the aeronautic, space and astrophysics sectors, formed to strengthen the regional supply chain behind satellite and launch-vehicle components across southern Italy.

SAM's activities span both upstream and downstream of the mission: development and manufacturing of payloads and flight components for satellites, alongside ground facilities such as EGSE and MGSE, paired with advanced technology services for Earth observation and monitoring, telecommunications, satellite navigation, and data acquisition via drones, aircraft, and ground-based sensors.
